          The frisbee whizzes past you, almost clipping your ear.

          You spin in the direction it came from to find your friends Jim and Kathy standing at the other two points of a triangle.

          "Nice catch, you klutz," Kathy sneers.

         You turn and peer out across the quads.  There are people everywhere: sunbathing, running and jumping, playing cards, smoking joints, tackling one another in a rumpus approximation of football....

        You pick your way through the crowd, looking for a spot of bright red, but you can't see it anywhere – or Inez.

          It takes a dozen seconds to realize that several people are gesturing to you.  When they get your attention, a few start pointing to the large concrete fountain bubbling merrily at the very center of the quad.

          You already know what you're going to find when you get there: the frisbee is bobbing around in the center of a circle of spouting jets.

          You sigh.  You're going to get wet on this one.

          And the world fades around you.
