Okay, you think to yourself. This is obviously going to take some work.
But the rabbit's foot, you decide, wouldn't keep taking you back to the same three moments unless they're all related somehow – unless getting these moments just right would accomplish your goal. Something in your gut tells you that, if you can get all of the stars to line up just right, you will succeed. It'll be a balancing act – like trying to beat an egg, play a kick drum, and recite the Declaration of Independence all at the same time – but you'd have to get it right only once, right?
The issue is that there are so many elements involved that you have little to no control over. The frisbee, for example, seems to have a mind of its own.
You could just surrender to the uncertainty (pick a number):
. . . but maybe there's some way to control some of the variables – stack the odds in your favor.
For instance, you can wish yourself luck (cross your fingers):
Good luck! Good luck! Good luck!
… seek the guidance of a higher power (say a quick prayer):
Lord guide me. Lord guide me. Lord guide me.
… or let the stars be your guide (what's your sign?):
Sagittarius Capricorn Aquarius Pisces
… or you can
use the house key to go back to the day you and Inez first met.
pull out Inez’s note to try your hand at solving the puzzle.
