        “I know you,” you tell her.

        “Do you really?” she says absently as she breezes past you.  You're forced to jog along beside her. 

        “Did you take Professor Stevens’ American History class last spring?”

        "Nope," she says, still walking.

        "I could have sworn –"  But she hasn't slowed down, and the crowd in the hallway is too thick for you to walk two abreast.  It doesn't take her long to end up ten steps ahead of you.

        You decide to let her go.  You've got all the time in the world, after all – literally – so it's easy enough just to try again.  You jump back sixty seconds into the hallway full of people, half of them already texting someone on their phones.
