“What’s that?” Jim asks.
“Just a little something I picked up somewhere,” you answer vaguely, studying the paper. Through your eyebrows, you catch sight of Jim and Kathy exchanging glances, but you are far, far past caring. In twenty seconds from now you won’t be there anymore anyway.
